The State of Maryland has lifted restrictions for eye health providers to resume non-urgent services for patients who need it.  We are slowly opening appointment slots and are going above and beyond the recommendations from the World Health Organizations and the CDC to make you experience as safe as possible.
The following changes have been made
- Require masks for all staff and patients
- Locked doors – all patients must make appointments including glasses/contact lens pick-ups, adjustment, frame shopping
- Requesting friends and family members wait in car when possible to maintain social distancing
- Health screenings and temperature checks upon entry for staff and patients
- Acrylic Barriers and Face Shields
- Thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces after each patient
- 2 step frame disinfecting process – germicidal UV cabinet and hydrogen peroxide wipes
- Air purifiers
- Removal of unnecessary touch-points like magazines and extra chairs
We are still providing
- Virtual medical visits
- Contact lens & eyeglass ordering with direct patient shipment or curbside delivery
